Accepting New Medicare Patients

For Patients with Medicare Insurance

If you have a Medicare insurance plan, our new Direct Primary Care (DPC) model does not affect your care. We will continue to provide comprehensive primary care services and bill Medicare and any applicable secondary insurance just as we always have. There are no changes to how your visits are covered under your Medicare benefits.

If you have a commercial (non-Medicare) health insurance plan, our practice will be transitioning October 16, 2026 to a Direct Primary Care model. Rather than billing commercial insurance for primary care services, patients enroll in our affordable membership program, which provides enhanced access to your physician, longer appointments, personalized care, and a transparent, relationship-focused approach to healthcare. Our team is happy to explain how the membership works and answer any questions you may have.

Understanding Medicare: Helping You Navigate Your Healthcare with Confidence

Healthcare can become increasingly complex, especially when navigating Medicare coverage, preventive services, specialist referrals, and ongoing medical needs. At Jupiter Internal Medicine Associates, our team believes patients deserve more than routine office visits — they deserve guidance and support that helps them understand and maximize their healthcare benefits.

Our medical providers work closely with Medicare beneficiaries to help simplify the healthcare journey while keeping the focus where it belongs: your health, wellness, and quality of life.

Personalized Care for Medicare Patients

As healthcare needs evolve, having a trusted internal medicine physician becomes increasingly important. Our providers offer comprehensive care designed to support adults and seniors through every stage of health management.

Our services may include:

  • Annual wellness visits and preventive health screenings
  • Chronic disease management for conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, and COPD
  • Medication review and management
  • Preventive care planning and health risk assessments
  • Specialist coordination and referral management
  • Transitional care after hospitalizations
  • Ongoing monitoring and personalized treatment plans

We believe healthcare works best when patients have a physician who understands their medical history, coordinates their care, and develops long-term relationships built on trust.

Preventive Care Matters

Many Medicare-covered preventive services are designed to identify potential health concerns before they become larger issues. Preventive care plays an important role in maintaining independence, preserving quality of life, and supporting long-term wellness.

Preventive services may include:

Annual wellness visits
Blood pressure monitoring
Diabetes screenings
Cardiovascular risk assessments
Cancer screenings
Vaccination recommendations
Bone health evaluations
Lifestyle and nutrition counseling
Early identification and proactive management can often improve outcomes and help patients stay healthier longer.

Coordinated Care You Can Depend On

Managing multiple specialists, medications, and healthcare appointments can feel overwhelming. Our team strives to provide a more connected experience by helping coordinate communication across your healthcare providers.

We focus on:

  • Clear communication
  • Personalized treatment planning
  • Continuity of care
  • Reduced gaps in treatment
  • Support through complex healthcare decisions
