Now Accepting New Medicare Patients in Jupiter
Jupiter Internal Medicine Associates continues to participate in traditional Medicare. Our move to Direct Primary Care for commercially insured patients does not change how Medicare patients are seen or billed — we bill Medicare and any secondary insurance just as we always have.
Led by board-certified internist Dr. Daniel Boss, who has cared for patients in Palm Beach County for more than 25 years, our team offers same-day sick visits, unhurried appointments and a wide network of trusted specialists, hospitals, rehabilitation centers and home health partners.
Please note: we participate in traditional (Original) Medicare Part B and bill your Medicare supplement (Medigap) or other secondary insurance as usual. We are not in network with Medicare Advantage plans.
Medicare Services in Our Jupiter Office
Welcome to Medicare Visit
New to Medicare? Within the first 12 months of Medicare Part B, you’re eligible for a one-time “Welcome to Medicare” preventive visit. We review your health history, medications and screenings and build a preventive plan for the years ahead. When you see a provider who accepts Medicare assignment, there is generally no cost to you for this visit.
Annual Wellness Visit
Once every 12 months, Medicare covers an Annual Wellness Visit to update your personalized prevention plan, typically with no copay or deductible. It includes a review of your medications, a fall-risk and memory check, a schedule for recommended screenings, and time to talk through advance care planning. If we also treat a new or ongoing problem during the same visit, standard Part B coinsurance and deductible may apply.
Chronic Care Management
Living with two or more long-term conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease or COPD? Our Chronic Care Management program gives you a written care plan and regular check-ins with our care team between office visits. Part B coinsurance and deductible may apply; we’ll explain the details before you enroll.
Care After a Hospital Stay
Leaving the hospital or a rehab facility is when mistakes and readmissions are most likely. We contact you soon after discharge, review every medication change and see you promptly in the office, coordinating with the hospital, rehab facility and home health team so nothing falls through the cracks.

Turning 65?
Choosing a primary care physician is one of the most important Medicare decisions you’ll make. If you’re turning 65 in Jupiter, Tequesta, Palm Beach Gardens or nearby communities, call us before your Medicare starts. We’ll schedule your Welcome to Medicare visit so you start on the right foot. If you’re deciding between Original Medicare and a Medicare Advantage plan, keep in mind that we participate in Original Medicare only.
